Oticon Reveal
Oticon Reveal is a rechargeable hearing aid with a dual-AI system that separately processes speech and environmental sound, delivering clearer conversation while keeping you connected to the world around you.
Oticon Reveal is a next-generation rechargeable hearing aid built around a dual-AI sound processing system that analyzes speech and environmental sound separately, then blends them in real time. The result is clearer conversation without shutting out the world around you, paired with improved feedback control, Bluetooth Low Energy Audio, and Auracast compatibility.
A Different Approach to Hearing in Noise
Many hearing aids treat background sound as something to eliminate. Oticon Reveal takes a different path, working to find your individual "balance point" between speech clarity and awareness of your surroundings.
This is made possible by two AI systems working together. Speech AI analyzes and enhances the voices you are trying to follow, while Context AI preserves the meaningful sounds around you, things like a car approaching, a doorbell, or a grandchild playing in the next room. The two systems evaluate your listening environment every two milliseconds and coordinate their response, so the adjustment happens faster than you can perceive it.
Reveal marks Oticon's third generation of AI-based hearing technology, following Oticon More and Oticon Intent.
The Technology Inside Reveal
Reveal AI Clarifier is where the dual-AI processing takes place. It replaces the MoreSound Intelligence system used in earlier Oticon platforms and handles the moment-to-moment balancing of speech against environmental sound. In practical terms, it can apply up to 12 dB of noise suppression, roughly 2 dB more than the previous generation.
Reveal Optimizer is Oticon's updated feedback prevention system. Feedback is the whistling sound that can occur when amplified sound escapes the ear and re-enters the microphone. Reveal Optimizer provides additional fitting headroom in the higher frequencies, which allows your audiologist to deliver more of the amplification your hearing loss actually calls for while reducing the risk of whistling. This is especially useful for open and vented fittings, where the ear canal is left less obstructed for comfort and natural sound.
4D Sensor Technology continues from the Intent platform. Rather than reacting only to the sound around you, the sensors also consider what you are doing, including head movement, body movement, and your listening intent, before deciding how sound should be processed.

Connectivity and Streaming Comfort
Reveal includes a redesigned connectivity platform and radio transmitter, delivering improved wireless range and a more stable connection compared to previous Oticon devices. You can stream phone calls, music, podcasts, and video audio directly to your hearing aids.
The new Streaming Comfort feature automatically lowers the level of environmental sound while audio is streaming, so a phone call or podcast stays clearly in the foreground. The amount of reduction is adjustable, either through the mobile app or by your audiologist during a fitting appointment, so you can decide how much of the outside world you want to hear while streaming.
For patients with hearing in only one ear, the new Oticon CROS transmitter routes sound from the non-hearing side to the better ear. It uses near-field magnetic induction along with Bluetooth Low Energy Audio, supports dual streaming, and shares the same desk and travel chargers as the hearing aids, which simplifies daily routines considerably.
Is Oticon Reveal Right for You?
Reveal tends to suit patients who value natural, open sound quality and want to stay aware of their surroundings rather than have background sound aggressively stripped away. It is a strong option if you prefer open or vented fittings, need dependable feedback management, or rely heavily on wireless streaming throughout your day.
Patients who want the most aggressive possible reduction of background noise may be better served by a different processing strategy, and that is a conversation worth having during your evaluation. Our audiologists can walk you through how Reveal compares to other platforms we fit and help you decide based on your hearing test results and daily listening demands.
Schedule a Consultation in Allentown
At Kleckner Audiology, fitting a hearing aid does not end with the device selection. We complete a comprehensive hearing evaluation, then program Reveal to your specific hearing loss and verify its performance using real-ear and electroacoustic measurement, confirming the hearing aids are delivering what was prescribed rather than assuming a default setting is close enough.
From there, we schedule follow-up visits through your first year to fine-tune settings, adjust the Streaming Comfort level, and address anything that comes up as you adapt.
